We know the importance of a tight-knit community. That’s why we employ a Community Development Manager to help get people together. We do our best to help new residents form social networks and get local sporting and social groups up and running.
We’re always dreaming up fun ways to get the community together and attract tourists to our great little town. We host a number of events throughout the year, from our kite flying event, Kitefest, and Christmas Carols and Markets, through to our free live music extravaganza, Googfest.
And that’s not even mentioning the town’s smaller community events, play groups, sporting groups, and other assorted meet-ups that happen regularly throughout the year.
So if you’re already a resident (or about to move into your new home), then get in touch with our community manager Samantha as soon as possible. We have residents-only events and a welcome pack picnic hamper, among other things, that we’d like to be able to share with you. You can contact Sam at community@googong.net
