Peet is committed to contributing meaningfully to reconciliation by building relationships, deepening cultural understanding, and creating opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Guided by our purpose of Defining future places of belonging, we recognise the important role we play in creating inclusive communities where everyone can belong.

Since launching our first Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) in 2023, we have strengthened our commitment to reconciliation by embedding respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories and perspectives across our operations, projects and partnerships. Through collaboration with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations, Elders and communities, we continue to listen, learn and take meaningful action.

Our 2026 Reflect RAP, formally endorsed by Reconciliation Australia, includes Peet’s Cultural Compact, which continues to guide the respectful engagement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the recognition of their histories and connections to the lands on which we develop our communities.

The RAP also incorporates our six RAP Principles: Concept, Context, Content, Place, Purpose and People. Supported by the Board, CEO and National Leadership Team, these principles guide our day-to-day decision-making, project planning and employee engagement, helping to embed reconciliation across our business.

Peet acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples as the Traditional Owners of the lands and waters of Australia, and we pay our respect to their Elders past and present.

We recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples continued connection and relationship with Country and value the rich cultural contribution they make to the communities in which we live, work and play.
