Surf and Turf at Village Green Park Family Fun Day
More than 200 families gathered at Village Green on Sunday 16 May 2021 to celebrate the official opening of Village Green Park with a “Surf and Turf” themed family fun day. Sunshine Coast families, friends and neighbours relaxed under beach umbrellas while enjoying a BBQ lunch, refreshing iced tea and ice cream treats.
The Sunshine Coast’s newest 1.5-hectare park also features a playground, fitness and exercise area for all ages, shared walkways and bicycle paths, water fountains, shaded areas, and plenty of open space – all located in the very heart of Village Green.
