Construction is now underway on a brand-new park that will provide another welcoming space for families, friends and neighbours to play connect and enjoy the outdoors. Designed for people of all ages, the park will offer a range of family-friendly features and outdoor amenities, including:
- A grassed kick-about area, shaded picnic facilities, and a children’s playground featuring slides and swings for active outdoor fun.
- A dedicated recreation area for teenagers featuring play equipment including the Flying Fox and Ninja Course.
- A shaded play area for younger children, creating a welcoming space for families to gather and play.
- A drainage basin integrated with native landscaping, complemented by native shrub planting and trees that enhance the park’s green, open feel.
Expected to open in early 2027, the park will be located at the end of Mayflower Avenue, just off Shorehaven Boulevard, providing a welcoming space for recreation, relaxation and connection.
