2019 Biggest Morning Tea
POSTED ON 15 May 2019
On Thursday 9th May, we held our second Biggest Morning Tea to raise money for the Cancer Council of WA and saw over 150 guests including many visitors from outside the village.
This event was coordinated by one of our residents, Anne Still and a group of dedicated hardworking volunteers. Entertainment was arranged and consisted of a fashion parade (with residents as models) from Kings Park Fashions, the Peel Harmony "Ladies Barber Shop" Choir as well as numerous raffles, lucky number boards, lucky door prizes and a Bring & Buy stall. Our residents also provided continuous tea, coffee and delicious home-made treats.
The event raised a total of $3,528.30 which was donated to this worthy cause.
At Lattitude Lakelands, we're so proud to be apart of this fantastic initiative, and our residents are already looking forward to next year's event!
