Peet has launched its 2026 Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), formally endorsed by Reconciliation Australia, marking the next stage of our reconciliation journey with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Guided by our purpose of Defining future places of belonging, we are committed to building respectful relationships, deepening cultural understanding, and creating meaningful opportunities through our operations, projects and partnerships.

Since launching our first Reflect RAP in 2023, we have strengthened our commitment to reconciliation by embedding respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and history across our business. Our RAP provides a clear framework to help us listen, learn and take meaningful action.

Through strong partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations, Elders and communities, we have celebrated cultural milestones, supported local businesses, and created opportunities for collaboration.

We have been proud to support the next generation of Aboriginal leaders through our partnership with the WA Cricket Foundation, providing support to the Aboriginal Cricket and Young Women in Cricket pillars, specifically the Social Leaders and Aboriginal Leadership programs.

In Brabham, Western Australia, our ongoing collaboration with Aboriginal Engagement Officers at the City of Swan has enabled the delivery of cultural activities throughout the year. This approach has delivered economic benefits to local Aboriginal businesses and built capacity for future community-led events.

As we progress planning for our Onderra project in ACT, we have integrated the Yerrabingin Connecting with Country Framework, embedding cultural values such as Respect and Intergenerational Care into master planning through water-sensitive design, habitat creating, and culturally significant planting. We have also continued our partnership with Buru Ngunawal Aboriginal Corporation at Googong, NSW to support cultural reclamation through the use of Aboriginal language in identifying future open spaces, helping to celebrate and normalise local language and heritage within the community.

Within our workplaces, employees across the country are helping to champion reconciliation through participation in National Reconciliation Week, NAIDOC Week and cultural awareness initiatives. This has included immersive cultural learning experiences led by Aboriginal Elders and grounded in storytelling, as well as educational presentations that deepen understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and perspectives.

Our 2026 Reflect RAP includes Peet’s Cultural Compact, which continues to guide the respectful engagement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the recognition of their histories and connections to the lands on which we develop our communities.

The RAP also incorporates our six RAP Principles: Concept, Context, Content, Place, Purpose and People. Supported by the Board, CEO and National Leadership Team, these principles guide our day-to-day decision-making, project planning and employee engagement, helping to embed reconciliation across our business.

“We are proud of the partnerships we have built with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations, Elders, and communities. These relationships have enabled us to celebrate cultural milestones, support local businesses, and create opportunities for collaboration and capacity building”, said Peet Chief Executive Officer Brett Fullarton.
