The design vision for Glendalough Green, masterminded by Cameron Chisholm Nicol (CCN) architects, reimagines urban density through the lens of a sophisticated London mews-style community. This inner urban development seeks to balance the convenience of its location with a profound, direct connection to the surrounding natural wetlands of Herdsman Lake and Lake Monger.
By prioritising a pedestrian friendly layout and human-scale architecture, the design fosters a sense of belonging where residents are encouraged to interact within shared communal hubs, including a central open space, edible gardens, and a dedicated bike hub.
This vision sets a benchmark for modern, sustainable living with high star energy ratings, ultimately creating a sanctuary that links people to nature and to each other.
