As Principal Partners of the Perth Scorchers, we hosted our Backyard Bash event at Newhaven, which included a fun afternoon out with members of the team including Beth Mooney, Chloe Piparo and Alana King. Families got the chance to meet and greet with Big Bash League players, as well as participate in a cricket workshop where kids learned top tips about the game and got to practice with their idols.
To help everyone stay cool in the warm weather, we served ice creams, face painting and offered participants the chance to enter our competition to win one of four family passes to the Big Bash League. Overall the day was a smashing success with families taking home signed autographs on their bats and balls from a few of their cricket heroes!
