Lightwood Parklands Extension Progressing at Riverbank!
Construction is continuing on the final stage of Riverbank’s Lightwood Parklands, which will complete the connection between the existing parklands network and the Caboolture River. Significant progress has been made in recent months, with the shared pathway extension now complete, creating an important link through this final section of the community. Landscaping works are also well underway across the extension area with the parklands beginning to take shape.
The new neighbourhood park is also progressing with landscaping underway. Designed as a local recreational space for nearby residents, the park will feature a modern playground with multi-play equipment including a slide, climbing elements, swings and other play opportunities for children of all ages. Shaded bench seating, picnic facilities and a shelter will provide a space for residents to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The Lightwood Parklands extension is expected to be delivered in early 2027 and we look forward to sharing further updates as work continues to progress.
