Peet Limited Managing Director and CEO Brendan Gore warmly welcomed the State Government’s announcement that the $15.6 million Burns Beach Primary School will be built at Burns Beach Estate during 2020-21.
“This is great news for our residents, and a welcome addition to the community,” said Mr Gore. “The new Burns Beach Primary School will add to the list of high-quality local facilities that are attracting people to the lifestyle on offer at Burns Beach.”
Residents can already walk to the beach, and I know a lot of them will jump at the opportunity to be able to walk the kids to school as well.”
“It’s also an important investment by the Government for the region,” Mr Gore said. “The northern coastal corridor has experienced rapid population growth over the past decade and this new school will help meet homebuyers’ demand as more and more families move into the area.”
