Glass House Mountains near Riverbank

Rock Climbers Delight!

The Glass House Mountains are an awe-inspiring landscape. Let the magic wash over you as you take a leisurely drive through the Glass House Mountains National Park, stopping at picturesque lookouts along the way, or get the blood pumping with some hiking, rock climbing or abseiling.

The magnificent rocky outcrops that make up the Glass House Mountains are actually remnants of volcanic activity that occurred about 25-27 million years ago. As the volcanic mountains cooled stunning vertical columns emerged. Today, they have become iconic landmarks on the Sunshine Coast and a popular location for bush walkers and hikers to explore.
