Opticomm has advised that it is switching off its Free‑to‑Air (FTA) television service delivered through the fibre network in Shorehaven Estate.
From 1 February 2026, residents in impacted areas will no longer receive FTA channels via the Opticomm fibre network. To continue accessing Free‑to‑Air TV, residents will need to:
- Stream FTA channels through the relevant apps (e.g. ABC iview, 7plus, 9Now, 10 Play, SBS On Demand); or
- Install a TV antenna at their own cost.
