On Saturday 14 June, over 40 Movida residents came together at Koala Cove Park and Playground for a farewell BBQ event, celebrating the great community connections within Movida Estate.
With a delicious BBQ hosted by Middle Swan Primary School P&C, and exciting face painting for the kids, the morning was filled with laughter and local pride. Residents shared stories, asked questions, and expressed how much they value the strong community spirit found in Movida Estate.
Local residents were able to collaborate on ideas for future community events with the City of Swan, ranging from kids’ activities to Filipino dancing. We are excited to see that Movida’s community spirit is alive and ready for its next chapter.
