More than thirty people of various ages attended the Golden Bay Town Team Arvo at Bru’s on Saturday 31 January 2026.
Situated just minutes from the coastline, attendees enjoyed a selection of beverages, delicious food, and the beautiful afternoon sunshine.
Bru’s kindly opened outside their regular hours to host the event, helping to promote the group to potential new members while supporting their tight‑knit community. Many attendees expressed interest in further involvement and committed to attending the next meeting on Wednesday 28 January 2026, to discuss future steps which is a great outcome.
A special thanks goes to Mayor Lorna Buchan for her attendance and recognition of Peet’s ongoing support for the community.
Overall, the event was a success, strengthening existing community connections and creating new ones within our well‑established Golden Bay community.
