Elavale has been designed to recreate the nostalgia of our childhood neighbourhoods – only better.

At the heart of this vision is our Liveable Streets initiative, which prioritises community, safety and accessibility.
A series of cul-de-sac streets are seamlessly connected by landscaped access ways, creating a walkable, green environment that encourages outdoor living and provides places to play. These shared spaces are more than just pathways – they’re places to gather, explore and connect. Families can enjoy neighbourhood barbecues, kickabout spaces and kids can get back to creating memories with street cricket and chalk hopscotch, just like we used to.
A key highlight of this initiative is the new Public Access Way at the end of Abbott Close, which has recently opened. This beautifully landscaped corridor enhances pedestrian connectivity, linking residents to nearby Kookaburra Park, surrounding open spaces and key community areas. But it’s not just a thoroughfare – it’s a space designed for connection and celebration.
So, why not host a street party at the long table, let the kids enjoy a game of hopscotch or four square, and take time out to enjoy your Elavale community in a safe, welcoming environment.
Elavale’s streets are intentionally designed with meandering roads and pockets of greenery to slow traffic and create a safer, more relaxed environment. These features not only improve safety but also make it easier to get in and out of your home.
With active spaces and liveable streets, we’re building a safer neighbourhood and a happier community, and that’s exactly what Elavale is all about.
