On Saturday 11 October 2025, the Kingz Multicultural Club hosted the Swan Punjabi Mela 2025, drawing over 7,000 attendees and solidifying its reputation as one of the City of Swan’s most inclusive and vibrant annual events. The free, family-friendly celebration welcomed residents from Brabham and surrounding suburbs, reflecting the region’s growing appetite for cultural events.
The free, family-friendly event, had something for everyone – kids had a blast in the play zone and workshops, teens and young adults got into the groove with vibrant dance acts and music, while seniors and multicultural groups added depth to the intergenerational turnout. Attendees represented an array of backgrounds, with people from Punjabi, Indian, Pakistani, Afghan, Bangladeshi, Middle Eastern, Māori, Filipino, African, and Australian backgrounds all coming together. Local businesses, performers and more than 60 awesome volunteers helped make it all happen, their efforts brought the whole event to life, creating a warm and welcoming space for all.
