The Festive season has Bluestone Mt Barker with the Resident’s Christmas Party, featuring a special visit from Father Christmas!
The lawns of Parkindula Homestead hosted the 2023 Resident’s Christmas Party, welcomed by hundreds of local residents who joined in the community festivities.
The Eastern Mavericks Basketball Club ran the free sausage sizzle and handed out cold drinks, while the Adelaide Hills Ice Cream Company were handing out free sherbet and 100s & 1000s soft serve cones. Love Mittie Cocktail Bar were serving drinks to the adults, and the acoustic music added a lovely atmosphere.
The highlight of the evening was the arrival of Father Christmas arrived with his helper Elf. The children lined up and waited their turn to tell Father Christmas what was on their Christmas list, and received lollies and small gifts in return.
The Bluestone, Mt Barker Christmas event was another lovely display of our community spirit, and a reminder of the importance of coming together in our neighbourhood.
