Growing up Flagstone

Join us for the first ‘Growing Up Flagstone’ community event, where we will be talking all things nature!
This first session will feature Roman Spur – an insprational, educational and empowering presenter. Roman and his family will share how working towards self-sufficiency (growing food, making home produce, up-cycling materials, using urban environment to their benefit and living in a small functional community) make his family less reliant on the society.
You will learn helpful information and lots of practical ideas and tips to live a more sustainable and healthier lifestyle while saving money. There will be plenty of ideas and inventions to show and tell (self-watering planter boxes, homemade laundry detergent and citrus softener, solar hot water system made from recycled materials for less than $50 etc.)
After the presentation, there will even be a hands-on activity where you will make and plant a wicking pot to take home and start to grow your own food!
So come and be inspired to create your own Utopia, inspired by Roman Spur!
