Peet Flagstone calling for EOI to run Youth Programs for the youth in Flagstone!
EOI is open all year round. Each EOI will be assessed on benefit and community need.
Peet is dedicated to building connected communities.In 2019, Peet consulted with the youth community in Flagstone and relevant stakeholders to develop a Flagstone Youth Strategy. After being delayed by COVID-19,Peet is now keen to support the implementation of the youth strategy in the interest of community wellbeing and safety.
To deliver elements of the youth strategy, Peet is seeking suitable local youth service providers to submit an expression of interest (EOI) for funding support to host and run youth activations in Flagstonein the 2023 calendar year,in school holidays or after hours in school terms.
The project(s) will become part of the ‘Flagstone youthHYPE’ program, aligned with one of the three key themes:
- gameHYPE – to focus on inspiring active participation and performance in physical and competitive fair play. To engage all abilities and motivate a healthy and active lifestyle.
- artHYPE – to focus on social, cultural and artistic expression, engaging, motivating and inspiring the creative arts. A creative outlet for young people’s energies and abilities and fostering inclusion and acceptance.
- jobHYPE – to focus on programs that help young people embrace education, training, and employment. Providing pathways to employment by supporting individuals and assisting them to grow in confidence through developing life skills and achieving goals
