It’s going to be one of the biggest financial decisions you’ll make in your lifetime - purchasing that house which will grow to become a home for you and your loved ones. Finding the right place can be time consuming and an emotional roller coaster. Therefore it pays to do your research on what finance options are available to you early in your journey so you can carefully consider them based on your personal circumstances.
To help begin your research, we have developed a handy guide that arms you with all the information you need to know when it comes to buying a new home. We still recommend you conduct your own research and seek advice relevant to your personal circumstances as well.
Work is set to commence on the latest stage at Golden Bay, which will ultimately provide 88 new homes in Stage 5 and almost four hectares of natural and re-vegetated coastal land and public open space.

Meet our new screen stars who love living at Golden Bay!
POSTED ON 11 May 2018
The Coleman's are the stars of our new video testimonial for Golden Bay, and couldn't enjoy their new life more!
The annual Golden Bay Easter Movie Night was a huge success, with around 200 residents both old and new joining in on the fun. Giant fun filled games were enjoyed by families, as well as an Indian curry food truck, coffee van and shave ice food truck for those who were a bit peckish.
In the spirit of Easter, an egg hunt was also a much-loved activity on offer. Kids collected popsicles and traded them in for eggs – or bunnies for the lucky ones that found yellow popsicles!
Families brought their own picnic rugs and beanbags, and Finding Dory started around 7pm as the sun went down.
It was great to see new families also embracing the community activities that Golden Bay has to offer and was also a great opportunity to meet their new neighbours.

Golden Bay Adventure Race
POSTED ON 13 Dec 2017
An abundance of fun was had by Golden Bay families who participated in the estate's fun-filled Adventure Race.
Residents competed in a 2km race which was broken into eight smaller stages. Avid walkers also chose to participate in a bonus 1.5km via the beach. Each stage of the race required participators to solve a puzzle or answer a question relating to Golden Bay, including its future plans, history and key assets.
The event was a great success, with a few new residents loving the opportunity to see more of their local area, and have the opportunity to get to know their neighbours at the sausage sizzle and cricket match that followed.
A big thanks goes out to everyone that came along and congratulations to the winners!
Calooli Street Party
POSTED ON 12 Nov 2017
The Calooli Street Party was a fantastic resident run event at Golden Bay on Sunday the 12th November, with almost the whole street attending.
Many neighbours met for the first time and it was great to see a mix of people who wouldn’t normally get together, meeting and making future arrangements.
The organiser is already keen to host a few street parties each year. This is great news and very exciting to see resident-led initiatives taking off!
Dogs N Dogs A Success
POSTED ON 11 Nov 2017
There were dozens of wagging tails and happy locals at the first ever Dogs and Dogs event at Golden Bay on Saturday 11 November.
More than 50 locals and 20 dogs came together at Mallina Park from 4pm to 6pm for some serious socialisation, sniffing, playing and for the humans amongst them – a good old chat!
There were plenty of ‘hot dogs” from the sausage sizzle for the dog owners to enjoy and a nice expanse of grass for the four-legged guests to roll and run around on.
There was a real mix of pooches – from little Jack Russells, to Cocker-Spaniels, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Dalmatians, Golden Retrievers, Pugs, Chihuahuas and Huskies – with ages ranging from puppies a few months old to dogs aged 15-years-old.
It was a great opportunity for residents – and their canines - to catch up with friends and make some new ones as they met new neighbours.A big thanks goes out to everyone who came along and made the day a barking success!
