Roll on Durack on Wheels!
For the third year in a row, The Heights, Durack is pleased to be supporting the annual ‘Durack on Wheels’ event which is set to roll this Thursday.
Durack Primary School’s popular community event has expanded this year with Fairy Jill and The Marines joining previous years’ crowd favourites Hector the Road Safety Cat and the Smoothie Bike Blender.
Along with a barbecue and soft drinks to purchase, rides, prizes and entertainment will keep kids young and old entertained.
Riders will set out from Flinders Park to complete as many laps as they can of the three-kilometre circuit around Durack with prizes for the fastest recorded speed, best dressed bike and the most laps completed.
Registration opens at 4.30pm at Flinders Park, with the ride set to start at 5pm. Entry is $5 per child.

We’ve since run this fantastic event and it was a hit with the community, check out some of the great pics taken on the day.
The Community Life
The Heights community is young, but there’s a lovely sense of community here. Like the development itself, the new residents are open, easy and relaxed. The Heights was designed to be a place where people meet, mingle and be active.
The new Community Centre is now open, and has fast become a hub of activity for community groups and events. From craft groups and art exhibitions, to storytelling and open days - there's something for everyone.
The Pinnacle newsletter is a great way for the residents stay in the know and connected. Each edition often provides a range of development updates, dates for your social calendar, and heartwarming resident stories.
The community at The Heights is set to grow, with the Northern Territory's newest over 55's retirement living village, Durack Gardens, currently being developed within the community.
