People’s Choice Awards
Public voting is open from 30 June to 23 July 2025.
Vote for your favourite business across 8 business groups. The business in each business group that receives the most votes will win Flagstone Favourites Business for 2025.
All valid voters that complete entry details correctly will go in the draw to win a $1000 gift card.

Business Excellence Awards
Businesses are invited to enter one or all award categories. They need to complete the written submission per award that will be judged by an industry panel.
Submissions require businesses to provide a brief description explaining their business and how they are part of the Flagstone business community. There are three questions to answer and opportunity to upload supporting photographs and documents and links to your website or social media channels. Submissions close 23 July 2025.
The three excellence awards in 2025 are:
Community Spirit Award | Business Innovation Excellence | Flagstone Small Business of the Year
Community Spirit Excellence Award
The Community Spirit Excellence Award recognises an organisation that works to improve the social, cultural or environmental wellbeing of the community.
Entry criteria: Entrants are required to demonstrate their commitment over the past 12 months to being an outstanding community organisation. This category is open to social enterprises and not-for-profit organisations who have been trading for a period of over 12 months in Flagstone.
Excellence Innovation Award
The Excellence in Innovation Award recognises a business that has implemented innovative solutions for new and existing business needs through the introduction or improvement of an idea, product, method, technology, process or application.
Entry criteria: Entrants are required to demonstrate their achievements over the past 12 months across the key area of innovation.
Excellence in Small Business
The Excellence in Small Business Award recognises a business that has effectively driven growth and is able to demonstrate the specific strategies implemented to achieve business success and/or resilience.
Entry criteria: Entrants are required to demonstrate their achievements over the past 12 months across the key area of business excellence. This category is open to businesses with 1 employee or less than 30 employees at the time of entry, who have been trading for a period of over 12 months operating in Flagstone.
