Peet and the Perth Scorchers have announced the conclusion of their eight-year partnership, bringing to a close one of the most successful and enduring sponsorships in the club’s history.
Peet joined the club as a Community Partner in 2018. Since then, the partnership has evolved with the continued growth of the club, with Peet becoming the Principal Partner of both the men’s and women’s teams in 2021.
At the heart of the partnership has been a shared belief in creating inclusive, resilient and meaningful connections with the communities of which they are a part of and fostering a sense of belonging.
The club’s impressive national broadcast reach, digital footprint and passionate fans have also contributed to strong uplifts across key brand metrics and commercial outcomes for Peet during this period.

“Over the past eight years we have achieved something genuinely special,” said Peet CEO Brett Fullarton.
“This partnership has delivered positive outcomes for our communities and strong commercial results for Peet. We are incredibly proud of what we built together and are grateful to the Perth Scorchers for being such a valued and collaborative partner.
“From the club’s incredible on‑field achievements to the way players have inspired young people across our communities, it has been a privilege to stand alongside an organisation that lives its values every day. Our shared commitment to bringing people together and creating places of belonging has left a meaningful legacy.”
Over the course of the eight‑year partnership, Peet and the Scorchers delivered a range of initiatives that created long‑lasting value for families, young people and local communities:
- More than 30 events, including Scorchers Fan Days, held across Peet communities, engaging over 12,000 participants and offering children of all abilities the opportunity to participate in cricket clinics and workshops, meet Scorchers players, and enjoy a day out with family and friends in their local community.
- Player ambassadorships to help raise awareness and destigmatise conversations about mental health, with Scorchers players sharing their lived experiences with Peet communities and employees.
- Support extended to the WA Cricket Foundation, including the Social Leaders and Aboriginal Leadership programs, which help young cricketers develop resilience, goal setting habits and build leadership skills in a culturally safe and supportive environment. Program participants also had the opportunity to connect with their cricketing heroes on match day, meeting the captains on the field and participating in the bat flip.

Perth Scorchers General Manager Jess Keily paid tribute to the strength and longevity of the partnership, acknowledging Peet’s contribution to the club’s success and the lasting impact of their shared commitment to community connection.
“Peet has for eight years been an incredibly important part of the Scorchers’ journey, sharing a strong alignment in values around inclusion, belonging and community impact,” Keily said.
“From fan days in local communities to important conversations around mental health and leadership, the partnership consistently put people first and brought communities together.
“Peet’s involvement also coincided with a significant period of growth and success for the Scorchers, during which their belief in the Scorchers and their collaborative approach was invaluable.
“We thank Peet for their enduring support and wish them every success moving forward.”
