We are pleased to announce that Brabham Estate, developed in partnership with DevelopmentWA, has been awarded the 2025 Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) WA Award for Excellence in Sustainability. Brabham showcases what large-scale residential developments can achieve in environmental excellence while maintaining affordability and liveability.
Central to Brabham’s environmental innovation is the Constructed Wetlands System which has transformed 4.2 hectares of degraded agricultural land into a thriving ecosystem, setting a new benchmark for integrated urban infrastructure.
The system was purpose-built to deliver water quality treatment, flood detention, and ecological restoration. The Brabham wetlands system also connects residents with nature, providing them with a unique green space to enjoy.

The judges commended Brabham stating, “Brabham Estate sets a high standard in sustainable development”.
The award adds to Brabham’s growing accolades, including a 6-Star Green Star Communities rating and the 2023 Platinum Waterwise Development Award, cementing its place as one of Western Australia’s most sustainable and liveable new communities.
