The real success of any community is in the way people interact with each other; how they create opportunities to come together for a common purpose, to have fun, to nurture their environment, or to support each other in times of need.
Visit any Peet community and you’ll quickly feel part of something special – a welcoming, friendly neighbourhood that’s supported and connected to those around you.
That’s part of the Peet plan. We support and partner with organisations and community groups around Australia, providing grants and sponsorships to community groups, charities, schools, residents’ associations and other worthwhile initiatives, that build connections and neighbourhood bonds.
It’s the same philosophy that drove our founder, James Thomas Peet, to encourage his community to support the war effort and those who fought so bravely – and to help them establish a family home when they returned. Our 21st century partnerships continue that proud tradition of support for Defence personnel and their families through work with Legacy Australia; Military Art Program and Alongside.
Here are some highlights of the wonderful local groups and organisations we have supported through our Community Partnership Program over the past year.
National Community Grants Program
We’re committed to helping our communities to thrive and grow. The Peet Group’s community partnerships program provides grants that build capacity in our own communities and in the regions in which our residents and their families become involved. They give motivated local groups a kick-start or well-deserved encouragement for their great work.
If you have an event, activity or initiative you’re trying to get off the ground or in need of a financial boost, we might be able to help.
