Karla Goncalves (27) has wanted to own her own home for as long as she can remember and after years of dreaming and several unsuccessful attempts, she is now building her first house at Greenlea Baldivis which she is looking forward to moving into in mid-late 2018.
Ellen and Trevor Batty can’t wait to move into their new four bedroom home at Greenlea Baldivis next year and put up the ‘full house’ sign!
With seven children aged from two to 22, the theatre room and study will bothused as bedrooms for some to come, so they can fit the Batty clan into the single storey house being built on their large 499 sqm block.
The family moved from Warnbro to a rental home in Baldivis three years ago. They’re now embedded in the community, so wanted to stay local and finally have somewhere they could call their own.
“What I loved about Greenlea was that it was a new development which suited me. I wanted a blank canvas and just went with my instincts, I wanted to be able to grow with the area as the many parks and other facilities open up.
Greenlea Baldivis is really well situated. My new house is straight across the road from the future football fields, near the existing primary school and future high school site, and close to the freeway.”
“I wasn’t even thinking about a home at this stage, I thought that was many years down the track for me.
But when Greenlea Baldivis came up in a chat one day, I was curious. Once I did a little digging and found out more about the estate I knew it was the perfect place to buy. I decided to just go for it!
Parks were a really big reason that I bought in the estate – I’m always outdoors. Baldivis is also surrounded by amenities including shopping centres and the beach.”
“After lots of searching in the southern corridor, I found Greenlea Baldivis which is the perfect place for me. This block in this estate is my perfect match with the heritage-listed bush tracks around Baldivis and the rural setting.
It was important to me to find an estate in a rural setting, away from suburbia yet close enough to the freeway for easy access to work in Welshpool.”
