Greenlea Baldivis supports White Knights finals campaign
In recognition of the important contribution sporting clubs make to the local community, Greenlea Baldivis estate has partnered with the White Knights Cricket Club to support its 2017/2018 cricket season.
White Knights Cricket Club is the largest club in the Peel region and has three teams playing in grand final matches this weekend (Saturday 24 March).
The Men’s D Grade team will be looking to defend last year’s title, the Men’s E Grade team is seeking retribution after narrowly losing last year’s grand final, and in the turnaround performance of the season the Men’s F Grade team has taken themselves from the wooden spoon position last year to the final where they will take on South Mandurah for the trophy.
Club president Leigh McIntosh said he was incredibly proud of all the players for the way they have conducted themselves this season.
“This is a great club,” he said. “It’s a very family centred environment, where people matter both on the field and off. As well as on field success, the club aims to provide the best possible equipment, facilities and social experiences possible for its members.”
“We have a large membership base with more than 100 senior players and 150 juniors aged between 5 and 17, as well as a strong community presence and we are very grateful for the support we receive from sponsors like Peet’s Greenlea Baldivis estate.”
“It’s been a fantastic season, and we’re obviously hoping to finish it off with some new silverware for the cabinet!” he said.
