Golden Bay Planting Day 2017

Golden Bay's 2017 planting day was an excellent success to help restore sand dunes at Golden Bay

32 people attended and 500 locally native plants were planted including beach spinifex, basket bush, beach saltbush, dune moses and red-eyed wattle.

Morning tea and lunch were served by volunteers from Green S Welfare Force Wing, a volunteer group from Perth’s Indian community. Ward Councillor Chris Elliott was also one of the attendees.

The planting day was organised by Golden Bay Coastcare, Perth NRM Coastcare, the City of Rockingham and was supported by Golden Bay Estate.
