Upcoming Works
In a recent letter to residents, Councillor Laurie Smith wrote to advise of new and exciting improvements planned for Spring Mountain Reserve, Greenbank.
The first project will see a two kilometre concrete footpath built around the reserve. This enhancement will provide some great opportunities for visitors to the park to get fit and active just in time for the warmer weather. The Works are expected to commence in the following months, highly subject to variable weather conditions.
The second project, a ninja fitness circuit, will be installed in the first half of 2019. Various types of fitness equipment will be installed in a square fitness node. The centre of the square will have an island of trees, creating a micro climatic oasis of green.
The Obstacle course includes:
- Hurdles;
- Balance beam;
- Vertical net & wall;
- Over under;
- Double turbo challenge;
- Stepping pods;
- Double overhead ladder.
