Riverbank Scores Top Marks With Young and Old
Peet Riverbank’s first community open day was the perfect backdrop for family fun last Saturday (25 August), with locals catching their first real glimpse of Caboolture’s newest neighbourhood. The free event, celebrating the opening of Riverbank’s onsite sales office, gave visitors the opportunity to explore the previously landlocked sanctuary which is hidden across the new rail bridge, at the end of Market Drive. The attractive, eco-friendly community is already attracting keen attention and will eventually be home to more than 1,200 families.
Caboolture resident Rochelle Wilson, with daughters Steffeny (3) and Annalise (5), were among those who enjoyed the fun of a roving magician, face painting, a jumping castle, and native plant and balloon giveaways.
72 year old traffic controller Bruni Ullrich also enjoyed the event, using it as an opportunity to scope out her choice of new homesites. The Morayfield resident said she loved everything about Riverbank and was hoping to make it home. "Riverbank is the ideal place as it’s so close to everything – shops, hospitals, the cinema and public transport – but still tucked away in the quieter part of Caboolture. It’s the best of both worlds," Bruni said.
"The land is elevated which looks really nice, exclusive and pretty. I’m looking to buy a 400m² block for around $180,000 which is a fantastic deal". Riverbank offers a wide selection of lot sizes with prices starting from an affordable $159,000 – with a $15,000 bonus for eligible purchasers, which is designed to attract key workers with sought-after skills, in areas such as health, education, emergency and community services.
