New Brisbane Catholic Education school planned in Flagstone
A NEW multimillion-dollar school is being planned to help ease the growing pains in one of the state’s fastest growing areas. Brisbane Catholic Education has purchased a 12-hectare site to build the first Catholic school in Flagstone, south of Brisbane within Peet Limited’s $6.7 billion Flagstone City development.
The school will service one of the biggest new residential areas in Australia with capacity for up to 1800 students, from Prep to Year 12. A Brisbane Catholic Education spokesperson said the school would launch with Years P-3 and Year 7, adding a new primary and secondary year level each year.
Brisbane Catholic Education provides quality teaching and learning outcomes in 146 schools covering an area including most of south-east Queensland from Childers in the north, Coolangatta in the south, and Gatton in the west. To find out more visit brisbanecatholicschools.com.au
