The Farm Direct Community Markets have moved. But don't worry they aren't too far away. Visit the markets every Sunday from 8am-1pm at Windsor Gardens, behind the Windsor Hotel Windsor, 410 North East Road. You’ll find all the fresh produce you’ll ever need and you’ll also support local producers.
In January we hosted a kids come and try sports day at the Strand Reserve. Everyone gathered at the Strand reserve and enjoyed an afternoon of soccer, tennis, cricket, basketball and more! As this is such a popular event we will be continuing the event each year, keep your eyes out on our Facebook page.
We hosted our Pets in the Park event in January. Lightsview residents gathered with their dogs at Strand Reserve where they received training tips and treated their canine friends to obstacle course fun.

There are now several locations available, including lake-fronting and stunning city views, so you can choose the view you want to come home to.
This event began in 2010 and has raised over $1.3 million to support the critical work of the Flinders Medical Centre Foundation and the Neurosurgical Research Foundation. Each year it continues to be a popular event with huge success, as people ride either 107km or 51km. The event is supported by South Australian Police and Lightsview.
The Rendition Cancer Prevention Home is part of Lightsview’s principal sponsorship of Ride Like Crazy, proudly supported by the South Australia Police. Rendition Homes built the beautiful European-inspired 2016 home, which was auctioned by Toop&Toop Real Estate. Part-proceeds were given to the Flinders Medical Centre Foundation to help fund critical cancer research at the Flinders Centre for Innovation in Cancer.
