Demand still strong at Peet estates

Buyers continue to show strong interest in Peet Limited estates despite commentators reporting a general slowdown in the Perth property market and the median house price falling 1.5% in the last quarter.

Keen prospective buyers turned out in chilly early morning weather last weekend for their pick of lots in the latest land releases at Carramar Golf Course Estate and Ashton Heights Private Estate.

Peet Limited Managing Director designate Brendan Gore said he was pleased with the weekend’s results. “It’s a good sign for the market and reflects the continued growth of Perth’s northern corridor and we’ll continue to release land to respond to that demand,” said Mr Gore. 

At Carramar Golf Course Estate, a total of 14 lots were sold in the Delamare Park and Carramar Heights precincts. All of the 10 lots sold in Stage 10 of Delamare Park are within walking distance of the 2.8 hectare Delamare Park. These homesites, sold on the first day of release, ranging in price from $240,000 to $254,000 for between 556sqm to 603sqm.

In Carramar Heights – set on the highest land in Carramar and neighbouring beautiful landscaped parkland – four lots were sold in Stage 16. The lots ranged in size from 601sqm to 648sqm and were priced from $283,000 to $292,000.

At nearby Ashton Heights in Tapping, 11 of the 18 lots released on the weekend sold for an average price of around $260,000. These homesites ranged in size from 593sqm to 815sqm. And, though there was no new land released, it was another strong sales weekend at the prestigious Burns Beach Estate with four lots ranging in size from 360sqm to 603sqm sold for between $420,000 and $830,000.

There is a variety of homesites now available at each of these Peet estates, with more releases scheduled over the coming months.
