New first for Peet
18/12/2006National asset manager, land syndicator and funds manager Peet Limited has released its first house and land packages at The Ridge, Baldivis residential estate. The release is a joint venture with the West Australian Housing Centre.
The individually designed homes all have distinctive character of their own and offered buyers “headache free” building – with all the planning, design and approvals already complete.
Peet Managing Director, Warwick Hemsley, said the packages were specifically designed to help first home buyers break into today’s highly competitive market.
“These quality homes represent value for money and are aimed at owner-occupiers trying to get a foot on the property ladder,” Mr Hemsley said.
This release comes at the back of a year marked by strong sales performance and a number of firsts for the company.
Peet is addressing the changing expectations and lifestyle aspirations of potential buyers with the introduction of a variety of property options aimed at better meeting the diverse social needs of a healthy and integrated community.
September saw the release of the first development from the recently established residential housing arm, Peet Living. The Grand 56 apartment complex in Joondalup – which sold out off the plans in just a few hours – features spacious bedrooms, relaxing living areas, intelligent kitchens, smart bathrooms and large functional balconies designed for entertaining.
Strong support has also been received for the company’s recent announcement of plans for their first over 55’s development, to be located within the award-winning Lakelands estate. This project represents a new approach to over-55s living – providing security, active lifestyle options and a real sense of community.
“Peet is responding to the changing market and growing demand for a variety of quality, design-led developments in sought after locations,” said Mr Hemsley.
“We are providing the variety of products required to suit a diverse target market – including the growing number of single dwellers and empty nesters searching for a home that meets not only their budget, but their individual lifestyle needs,” he said.
“We have been delighted with the extremely strong response to these new offerings and plan to continue providing quality developments to suit the needs of all Australian home buyers,” Mr Hemsley said.
