Brendan Gore BComm, FCPA, FCIS, MAICD
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer

Brendan Gore has more than 23 years experience working in senior executive positions, including five years in land development, including Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Peet Limited since 2007.

Before joining Peet Limited as Chief Financial Officer, Mr Gore held senior corporate, commercial and operational roles in the resources and oil and gas services sector for more than 18 years.

During that time, Mr Gore gained extensive experience in strategy development and implementation, as well as acquiring expertise in debt and equity markets.

He developed a reputation as a strong leader, with operational responsibilities which extended across local and state government relations, environmental and sustainability management and occupational health and safety.

A qualified accountant and Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Mr Gore is also a Fellow of CPA Australia and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries.
 
Since joining Peet, Mr Gore has played a key role in expanding the company's scope of activities and growing its core residential development and funds management businesses.

Executive Director / National Business Development Director

Anthony Lennon moved to Victoria more than a decade ago to establish Peet’s operations in that state and has overseen significant expansion since that time.

He first joined Peet in 1991 and became a Director in 1996.

Before joining the company, Mr Lennon worked in the United Kingdom, where he completed his post-graduate Diploma in Business Administration while on a Graduate Management Training Scheme with major international construction and development company, John Laing PLC.  His time with this global company saw him gain valuable experience in property planning, marketing, feasibility analysis and project management.

Mr Lennon’s responsibilities since joining Peet have included project management, broadacre acquisitions, marketing and financing, and a six-year stint as head of conveyancing services.

Currently Peet Limited’s National Business Development Director, he has previously held the positions of Director of Marketing and Director of Eastern States Operations, responsible for projects in Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales.


Darren Cooper BBus, Grad Dip Bus (Finance), MAppFin
Chief Operating Officer

Darren Cooper has developed an impressive track-record in the financial services and property industries over the past 20 years.

As Chief Operating Officer at Peet since February 2008, he has a key role in the company’s activities across the country.

Prior to joining Peet, he spent 10 years with Mirvac Western Australia in a number of senior roles, including four and a half years as Development Director, where he was responsible for the delivery of several well-established and major new developments.  

He was previously at BankWest where he held various roles in Land Development, Commercial Banking, Resource Banking and Project Finance, before helping to establish the Bank’s specialist Property Finance unit.  He then took up a role as a Senior Corporate & Commercial Banking Manager in Melbourne.

Mr Cooper is the Immediate Past President of the Urban Development Institute (WA), and is a UDIA National Councillor.  He also holds a position on the WA Planning Commission’s Coastal Planning and Coordination Council.


Mario Pisano MBA, BBus
Chief Financial Officer

An experienced senior executive in the resources and finance sectors, Mario Pisano joined Peet in January 2008.

Mr Pisano provided commercial and strategic advice to facilitate the merger of Horwarth Perth Chartered Accountants and BDO Business Advisors in 2007.

Prior to that, he held a number of senior roles at Woodside Petroleum, including General Manager-Finance on the North West Shelf Venture and Corporate Planning Manager.  During this time he established himself as a corporate leader with a reputation for strategic thinking and producing outstanding results.  

Before joining Woodside Petroleum, Mr Pisano consulted to the resources giant as part of his tenure with Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting).  He also held the Melbourne-based position of Strategy Manager with the consultancy.

From the late-1980s to the mid-1990s, he held senior positions with Grant Thornton (formerly Hendry, Rae and Court) and Horwath Perth Chartered Accountants.

Mr Pisano has a long history of outstanding achievement, having been awarded the Western Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Medal for best graduating student while completing his Master of Business Administration.


Peter Dumas MAppSc, BEc
Head of Funds Management

Peter Dumas has worked within the Property Funds management industry since 1995 including working with some of Australia’s leading property fund managers, AMP Capital and Multiplex Ltd.

Mr Dumas joined Peet in February 2008 as Head of Funds Management, including responsibility for Peet’s very significant land syndication portfolio.

Mr Dumas has worked on a wide range of property projects in New Zealand, Germany, United Kingdom and United Arab Emirates and was instrumental in the creation of the $1.5 billion Ronin Property Group which was taken over by Multiplex in 2004.

He has a wide range of experience across the property sector having held a number of senior positions within the industry and has worked with funds invested across all core property sectors.

Mr Dumas has also served as a director on a number of joint venture boards including four years as a director of the Manager of the NZ$1.5 billion AMP New Zealand Office Fund which is listed on the New Zealand Stock Exchange.


Dom Scafetta BComm, CA
Company Secretary

Dom Scafetta is a qualified Chartered Accountant who has worked with Peet Limited since 1998.

Mr Scafetta began his career with major accounting firm Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) after completing a commerce degree in 1993.  He held a senior role with the organisation in their Business Services division and advised a range of clients on accounting, taxation and general business matters.

After four years at Coopers & Lybrand, Mr Scafetta joined Peet as Company Accountant and Company Secretary, a role which also required him to act as Company Secretary for the company’s various syndicates and subsidiaries.
 
Prior to Peet being listed on the Australian Securities Exchange, Mr Scafetta was appointed Chief Financial Officer and served in that role until February 2005, when he was appointed as Company Secretary of Peet Limited.
